Bill McGown, owner and operator of Leap Frog Water Taxi, has spent a life time exploring the San Juan Islands by boat, kayak, and bicycle.  Bill grew-up in a boating family and took for granted easy access to all the islands, but has since realized how many people haven't ventured beyond the WA State ferry-serviced islands of San Juan, Orcas, Lopez and Shaw.  For every island serviced by the Ferries, many more are waiting to be discovered and enjoyed by those with a desire to experience the "other" San Juan Islands.  

Bill has recognized that it takes easily accessible water transportation to help people get off the beaten path. He hopes that Leap Frog Water Taxi will bridge this gap by providing fast, safe and efficient passenger ferry service to all the islands.  Bill lives in Bellingham with his wife Carolyn and their two young daughters. He has his USCG 50-Ton Masters License.
